Onome, I know how special today is to you. And I feel it’s a good day to give you “a piece of my heart”. Today I will say in public most of the things I have said to you in private, at least you are old enough to handle it. You are no longer an adolescent like you used to be; you were just a “little girl”; less than 15years old, still in SS1 when I met you. Now you are gradually developing into a lovely lady and will soon become a full blown woman. Please, allow you to grow and develop gracefully, do not follow the trend. May I remind you that you are a virtuous woman in the making. Be the person you truly are. Go after what you want. Sometimes what others want for us is not what we want for ourselves. Be honest with yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being different. Be yourself and avoid distraction as much as it lies within your strength.
