Celebrating The Man With A Heart Of Gold

Image
At a time like this, when the Church seems to be getting more relaxed with the standards of the world. It proves difficult to find men of God who are purely dedicated to path which they have chosen. However, in October 2010 when a friend invited me for a programme in their church, I never knew it was going to be a defining moment in my life. With lots of reluctance I attended the revival captioned: "The Too Much God". Basically, I wasn't so much interested in the revival but I attended just to satisfy a friend little did I know that God has a plan B.

No Glory in Poverty

Image
George B Shaw said: "The greatest of evils and the worst of crimes is poverty... our first duty - a duty to which every other consideration should be sacrificed is NOT TO BE POOR". Many have described poverty as a disease, others claim its a curse, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm yet to see anything that is as dehumanizing as poverty. It undermines the individuality of people and renders them helpless, hopeless and somehow incapacitated.  With poverty comes indescribable hardships and miseries. Sometimes I ask; is there a happy poor man anywhere on earth? Has anyone ever won award for being poor? Of course not, because there is no glory in poverty. Do your best to earn a better living for yourself. Get serious with life, get smart with your work, trust more in your God and get better in the world. Stay Blessed!

Prayer Fixes Everything But One

Image
God is omniscient; He answers all manner of prayers according to His will. Prayer can do everything but one.   Prayer can be a cure for many trouble and diseases but certainly not IGNORANCE; KNOWLEDGE is the only remedy. Don't waste your time  praying God to help you do what you can do for yourself. Such prayer doesn't work. You cannot cure ignorance with prayer and fasting, neither can you get rid of stupidity by divination. God gave you a brain put it to work and maximize the power thereof.  Dear reader, thanks for visiting my blog I hope this becomes a formidable source of inspiration to your life. Feel free to comment and share my posts,  God bless you plenty. Stay Blessed! Ahaoma Charles Ebere  ACE Visible Inspirations - Together we can inspire our world.

My Faith, My Everything!!!

Image
Without faith, it is practically impossible to do God's will. The duty of man on earth is to do the will of God. That's how indispensable faith is to our lives as believers in the all holy God. Faith is the demonstration of things not seen, the ability to see the invisible, believe the incredible, accept the unbearable, confront the unthinkable, in order to receive what the masses think is impossible. Faith is a firm persuasion and expectation that God will perform all that He promised us in Christ. Keep your faith alive in God because He will accomplish His promises in your life. It is not in the habit of our God to disappoint those who trust in Him. GOD NEVER FAILS! Stay Blessed.

God is Faithful! I will tell my Children

Image
"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised"  (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV) I'm a lover of art works, when you open the door to my sitting room you will see the picture in this post strategically placed in the opposite direction. Its not only for aesthetic purposes, there is an inscription on it(My God is Faithful). Same is boldly written on the cover of every book I have published. That's a reminder of a promise I made to God in July 2001: "I will tell my children that you are faithful". Growing up I, discovered three cardinal beliefs upon which I tried to build my life. They are so pivotal that nothing, absolutely nothing can alter them. The first among the three is that God cannot fail me because, he is faithful. After the burial of my late wife, the cameraman during an interview asked: "what will you tell your children when they grow up?" I did not need to think of an answer so replyin...

Straight Gate and Narrow Way

Image
" Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (KJV) Matt. 7:13-14, The gate and the way represent the same thing. The context here in this verse is that many people choose the broad and easy way but very few choose the narrow and difficult way. The broad way has a wide gate and the narrow way has a narrow gate. It is not important here whether the gate comes first or is at the end of the road.
