Roses Will Bloom Again




The month of March and the first few days of April wasn't really very friendly. I can hardly recall when last I had it so challenging within a month. But all the same I am back. It's really nice to be back and I am excited because "Roses will bloom again". The dry lands shall receive water again, rivers shall flow in my desert, you just have to wait and see. 

I am done with mourning what might have been, now looking forward to what will be; waiting patiently for the next door(s) to open. I don't claim to have answers to all the questions of life (no one even dares to claim), but surely God is able and sufficient enough to respond to all the difficult questions of this life. Roses will bloom again, do not kill yourself for the sake of your current challenges they will not last forever. Be strong, it might be rainy now but it doesn't rain forever. The storms in your life will soon be over.

It doesn't matter what comes against the boat, but what matters most is who is in the boat. The boat that has God in it cannot sink. God has become everything to me and that's what really matters. This marks the end of my worries and the beginning of faith. Better days are ahead, Roses shall bloom again, because God never fails!

It was the longest night of my life. The doctor looked at me with mute hopeless appeal, his facial expression was that of total despair though he managed to pretend as if everything was okay. Within a second, I was gripped by this sense of disgust, sorrow and revulsion and I gave him a curious but futile stare. I could feel the scorch of fear on my skin travelling through my spine, down to the bone marrow even though he is yet to utter a word. I nearly lost my balance; I had to lean on the wall to regain myself. I feared the worst. It was about 1:30am in the early hours of Friday March 27th, 2015, I could feel the movement of light disappearing from my eyes. The night became darker than usual. My heart skipped as if it's about jumping out of its cage. All these happened in less than 5 seconds. I knew there was nothing okay about the situation, but I managed to ask, "I hope she is alright?"
