Nigeria seems to be on a fast lane; gradually going down the way of total collapse, while our leaders are busy apportioning blames to "Jonathan", a former president. Those of us who supported the election of President Mohammadu Buhari(PMB) are now singing the bitter song of regret. Governance is something more than arresting and prosecuting looters or political opponents. Some of us are beginning to see how wrong a choice he was in that election. The truth hurts but must be told; the blame game that APC seems to have embarked upon is a direct consequence of their inability to keep to certain promises they made in haste. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:23). Here, the Bible talks about not just any kind of woman, but a special kind; the Model Woman. This woman is the ideal wife, the dream of every man. But the Bible asked, "a virtuous woman, who can find..?"  Who can find a woman that the husband:  Has absolute confidence in her faithfulness. Knows she will not be a waster of his life and resources. Is blessed with her tireless industry all the days of his life. Is exalted as a king by the people for her sake. Who can find? She was famous for overcoming incapacitating childhood illnesses to become the first American woman to win three gold medals in one Olympics.

It was a chilling sight to behold, I saw nothing other than a malnourished, weak, tired and heartbroken little woman.

Life is full of uncountable lessons, every experience comes with special lessons. I have learnt  so many important lessons with sweet and bitter flavours. The following deserve to be mentioned among the most important of all my life lessons. Lessons Life taught me #1 -  God can do all things except one God can give you the ingredients for your daily meal but He expects you to do the cooking yourself. He can put food on your table but it's your duty to put food in your mouth. God will give the inspiration but you will do the thinking.

The truth remains that no one has it all, we all have some good and bad sides but there are some common qualities that makes a man very attractive, highly respected and the Ideal man for the women folk. Although I am not a woman but I have been privileged to have lots of amazing women around. I have a mom who is a role model to many other women, six lovely sisters, majority of my friends are ladies, my current work place is predominantly women, and I was married to a woman who understands what she wants clearly. From experience and my long term interactions with them I have been able to identify some important qualities most women would like their man to have.

Grief is the overwhelming feeling of sadness and sorrow you experience when you lose someone or something that you have an affection or a bond with. Grief is a multidimensional but natural response to loss. IT IS VERY NORMAL TO GRIEVE.

Today is his Birthday! You will not need a DNA test to ascertain whose son he is. The contours of his "soldier" face, the broad nature of his lips, the size of his beautiful eyes, the thickness of his eyebrow and the density of his eye lashes has said it all. You will need less than five minutes to observe and confirm that he is a true son of his father. . When I look at him and smile, it's because I see myself in him, he looks cool but very tough, he has a mind of his own and doesn't give up easily. When I was a child, I was so close to my father, such that I allowed no one (not even my mom) to feed me. The exclusive right to my feeding belongs to my dad, I 'll wait no matter how long it takes for him to come back. Even now, I can still remember when my dad used to feed me. I slept on his bed till I left the primary school.

I ndeed what you can accomplish is limitless when you believe in yourself. It takes Belief to move a mountain. I want to share with you one of the most inspiring stories I have ever read. Here is the story of an ordinary man with extraordinary courage; the man who moved a mountain with ordinary Hammer and Chisel. The mountain man at work Dashrath Manjhi popularly called "the Indian mountain man" a man born in 1934 in the remote village of Gahlour near Gaya in Bilhar India was a poor, illitrate outcasted individual. Although he must have survived through hard labour; he had a cast iron spirit. His village was isolated from essential services by a treacherous mountainous terrain. Some villagers had to circumvent the mountain and hills to access their farms, school, and medical care. One day his pregnant wife Phalguni Devi was bringing lunch for him while he worked in the field and she needed to transverse the mountain but unfortunately she slipped off  and was bad...

KEY PASSAGE: 1 Corinthians 10:13 SUPPORTING SCRIPTURES: Matthew 4:1-10, 5:28; James 1: 13 SUMMARY MMARY: Temptation has been part of human existence ever since Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. Even Jesus was tempted when He walked this earth, but He was the only one who successfully resisted every time. Although none of us can achieve His perfect record, God has not left us to fend off the Devil’s attacks on our own. to aid us in standing firm against fierce temptations, He’s given us a powerful verse of Scripture in 1 Corinthians 10:13: “no temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” if we want to respond wisely to temptation, this verse must become part of our armor of protection.

A trained minister of the gospel, I'm 1.75m tall, dark skinned with a pair of bulky eyes. Talking is my hobby, teaching is my passion and writing is my interest. I am a frank, straightforward and frisky introvert. The story of my life has being a reflection of God's faithfulness and man's doggedness.

It was the longest night of my life. The doctor looked at me with mute hopeless appeal, his facial expression was that of total despair though he managed to pretend as if everything was okay. Within a second, I was gripped by this sense of disgust, sorrow and revulsion and I gave him a curious but futile stare. I could feel the scorch of fear on my skin travelling through my spine, down to the bone marrow even though he is yet to utter a word. I nearly lost my balance; I had to lean on the wall to regain myself. I feared the worst. It was about 1:30am in the early hours of Friday March 27th, 2015, I could feel the movement of light disappearing from my eyes. The night became darker than usual. My heart skipped as if it's about jumping out of its cage. All these happened in less than 5 seconds. I knew there was nothing okay about the situation, but I managed to ask, "I hope she is alright?"
